EX-IM BANK LONG TERM LOAN GUARANTEE PROGRAM

• Generally used for foreign buyers financing amounts greater than $10 million USD

• Used for items such as aircraft, engines, and other large ticket capital equipment

• Financing terms from 7 to 12 years

• Finance lease transactions included

• Loan value is generally up to 85% of U.S. contract price, plus Ex-Im Bank Exposure fee, and certain approved fees

EX-IM BANK MEDIUM TERM LOAN GUARANTEE AND INSURANCE PROGRAM

• Generally used for foreign buyers financing amounts less than $10 million USD

• Used for small to medium sized capital equipment

• 1-5 years terms, can be 7 years, or up to 18 years for some environmental projects

• Finance lease transactions included

• Loan value is generally up to 85% of U.S. contract price, plus Ex-Im Bank Exposure fee or Ex-Im Bank Insurance Premium

SHORT TERM EXPORT CREDIT INSURANCE PROGRAM (OFFERED THROUGH OUR EX-IM BANK APPROVED AFFILIATE)

• Protects U.S. supplier against non-payment by foreign buyers due to:

• Commercial Risk such as: Protracted default and/or insolvency

• Political Risk such as: Import/export embargo, outbreak of war, and currency inconvertibility

• Applies on credit terms up to 180 days, 360 days for capital equipment and bulk, unprocessed agricultural products

• Coverage available 90%, 95%, or 100% depending on policy selected and buyer classification

• Insured foreign receivables can be added to supplier’s borrowing base (90% of contract price)

OPIC PROJECT FINANCING PROGRAM

• Provide competitive project financing and political risk insurance for emerging markets

• Must have at least 25% U.S. corporate interest

• Project owners must bring at least 40% equity

• OPIC can fund the remainder 60% as debt up to 250M USD

NON EX-IM BANK TRANSACTIONS

• Leases or loans are structured using credit and/or political risk insurance to mitigate risk

• No minimum U.S. content requirements

• No minimum or maximum transaction size

• Maximum 5 year terms
